Hello everyone, get ready to work hard at band camp this year. You should bring
plenty of water/Gatorade, a three-ring binder with clear plastic page protectors
for your music, wire music stand, pencil, plain white T-shirt (if you are a
rookie), and a good attitude. We are determined to have a successful season
with a lot of fun, hard work and dedication. As you may have noticed, we are
asking you to bring your own wire stand. As the vets know, with so many
Southerners it is hard to get a university stand during camp. So to prevent
this, Mr. Bodiford recommends that you bring your own.

Within the first two days of camp we will select a line or two from the show
music for everyone to audition for parts. We will then place you as 1st, 2nd,or
3rd. Everyone that is planning on marching needs to e-mail one of your section
leaders giving them your e-mail address. Also, everyone needs to register for
camp on the southerners webpage. If there is any questions do not hesitate to
ask.

We cannot wait to get this season started. See you all in August.
